Title: Killer Sanded Problem...

I bought a used one off of here a few weeks ago or so. I recieved it with fingers plugged once already. The current layout is pin above ring and bomb right of thumb. I have been told this layout won't do to well on heavy oil. So, I am debating wether to redrill whole ball to max hook, or trade it for something else. I really wanna keep it though. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance. Kyle

Have you used it?  If not, give it a test and see what happens.

Well, that means it will go slightly longer with a bit more backend...but if it's in the stacked lev position, it's probably still in the strongest.  Then again, I can't say that without knowing your PAP and seeing an actual pic...

Nah you guys. Look at Ebonite. Its pin above ring. You'll see if you look. I am afraid a length drilling wont work on heavy. I dont wanna put any more holes in it then i have to. So either change whole drill or trade ball for something a with a better layout. Anyone got a killer they wanna trade?? LOL

Plug it and go for the Rev-lev drill (hmm seem to be giving that advice lately)

I checked your specs... the rev lev will do nicely for oil... adjust surface as needed, after you've thrown it.

Kyle, where is your PAP located? This is key when it comes to pin location. With the Killer Instinct, ignore the CG, it is not going to mean much except for statics, and those are not quite as important as they used to be.

That ball has a very strong surface. Majority of the reaction you see out of a bowling ball today is determined by the surface that you have on the ball. Is the span close enough that you can atleast get an idea of what it will do?

That would be drilling #2 on the drill sheet (page) for the KI.
