Shot 280 in one of the earlier matches but they didnt show the entire match. Shoots 771 on the day.  Only Video ive seen of an entire match of anthony.

Earl Anthony vs. Gary Mage 1997 Showboat Tri-Cities PBA Senior Open(cut mage out to get better quality of earl throwing the ball, only earl's shots are shown)

Earl is my all time favorite bowler. That guy had IT. Lane mojo.
Bowled well under pressure, great sense of humor, great all around guy.
He is missed each time I see reruns of him bowling. Even if he is a lefty.

Nuttin against lefties... no flames please. I'm righty but can bowl lefty.

Heaven must have needed lessons for him to have to leave this earth...
Thanks Earl for the memories and inspiration of this great game of ours.

thank espn and pba for showing the older stuff..write them a letter if you want saying thanks and ask if they could do it on a more consistant basis.

Earl Anthony had the smoothest style of any bowler I've seen.  He made throwing a ball down the lane look effortless.  I enjoy watching any game that he played.  PLEASE POST MORE VIDS OF EARL ANTHONY!!!!

Can't say for sure, but I don't believe so. At his memorial service, everyone (Mage, Schlegel, etc) all talked about how much Earl was loving golf. He was still bowling/practicing a bit, but mainly, his life was all about golf.

If you've only seen Earl on these Classic telecasts when he was already 60. maybe a 40/45 year old Ozio is smoother. But that doesn't tell the reality. If yo uhad any common sense, you'd realize that.
