Check out THIS ebay auction
« on: January 10, 2007, 07:23:38 AM »
http://cgi.ebay.com/Jayhawk-Bowling-Alley-Pro-Shop-Equipment-Drill-Press_W0QQitemZ250071992391QQihZ015QQcategoryZ2905QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

this thing has been listed and taken down 3x in the last 48hrs. Everytime, it's a different seller id and email contact, but the same pictures, description, and "free shipping". How long will it last this time?

I saw it listed at least 4 times under 4 different names.  What happens if someone actually bids on it?  He could end up with multiple people winning the same item.
Current Equipment
Alpha Jackal
Jackal Flash
Primal Shock
Rogue Assassin
Revolt Havoc
Revolt Vengeance
Venom Shock
Blue Coral Venom
Fatal Venom
Dessert Tank

It's up to five listings now! Too bad as this would be a good deal if it were real.

Be careful with this one. It has been posted on E-bay many times over the last few months. It may very well contain computer related viruses. E-bay has had a hard time getting this removed completely. It pops up with different e-mail addresses and other items for sale, etc. Many links are included for you to click on. If you clicked on any links looking for further information, you'd better scan your computer.

It's the same old scam. If you look in the item description they want you to contact them about shipping. This is when they work the con. Ebay needs to step up to prevent ID hijacking. BTW That is the same Jayhawk as last month with the same old Pontiac in the pic.

Old school scam, they phish your email and say they need your Id, Password, cc info and email. You fill it in thinking Ebay is requesting the information, and they just stole your Ebay account. Now they know your email password so you can't stop them from changing your passwords.

At least a couple times a month I get an e-mail saying my Ebay and/or PayPal accounts are being restricted due to possible unauthorized activity. All I have to do to restore the account in full is "CLICK ON THE PROVIDED LINK".

Are people REALLY that ignorent? I sometimes send them a letter signed "FBI" and it seems to shut 'em up for awhile.
