Total Inferno or No Mercy???
« on: January 29, 2007, 03:44:17 PM »
In between of this balls, what is the best for heavy oil...

Please i need a little help with this. Right know i only have the Absolute Inferno for the house shot (38 feet). but in other lanes i have problems because the lane have a lot of carrydown and the absolute is weak  for that condition, so whisch one is the best? for Heavy OIL!!

Thanks.

PD: and for the dry lane conditions? dry to medium?

Yea. If you look at this site under the color part, it says "red pearl". But I really don't think it is purely a pearlized ball. Something like the Blade "Pearl" or the Savage "Pearl" would obviously strike me as being Pearlized balls. But you don't see pearl in the Total Inferno. Oh well...

For Heavy oil the No Mercy would be the better choice.  I also agree that if your a low track bowler then the NM may not be a good fit for you.

The NM is a very strong bowling ball with a very strong cover.  Even at 4000 grit it's a beast.

This is not a knock on the TI but that's my opinion.

There are a lot of bowling balls that will work great on heavy oil.  I know the Awesome Hook and Revs are good heavier oil balls.

Total Inferno is an Absolute on steroids, I'd say get that to compliment the Absolute.

I have both, and the No Mercy is stronger, stronger core, and solid coverstock. The total is good, still, it's no lazy bum, but the No Mercy revs up faster, at the breakpoint. Only down side of the No Mercy is the cover seems to shine up fast and higher maintance. Also have seen some people just not have the right layout on the No Mercy or have it too dull.

The total is an easier bet.
