Is the siladium ring cheap looking, should I get the gold?

If its your first 300 get the gold. You might never bowl another one. I have been waiting since 1973 to shoot my first and will get a gold ring when I do.

My 298 ring is sterling silver, but nothing looks better than gold in my opinion.

If you first take the one that is GIVEN to you, you can order the gold at a later date and have 2 for the price of 1 !!!!! Think about it.

Very good point raiderh20boy. I think I will do that. I'm not the flashy gold type anyway.

I suggest that you take a close look at the Eagle 300 ring before ordering.  I debated around for a while before upgrading my first 300 ring to 14K gold, and I polled numerous bowlers about which design they preferred (the Classic Stadium design and the Eagle 300 design), and the vast majority of other bowlers preferred the appearance of the Eagle 300 ring design.  Needless to say, I ordered the Eagle 300 14K ring, and I am very satisfied with the appearance of it...I wear it almost every day.  One difference in the two designs is the direction that the stone is turned.....with the Classic Stadium design, the long side of the stone is across the finger.  With the Eagle 300 design, the long side of the stone is in line with the finger.  For my 2 cents, the Eagle 300 ring is a lot more striking in appearance.

Classic 10k $459
        14k $579

Eagle   10k $469
        14k $589

You do get to take off $40 if it your 1st award  of the season.

Congrats on the game.

The three rings I have are all siladium.  I've seen the gold ones, that's why I decided to just stick with siladium on my most recent one.  The gold doesn't really shine, it's more of a dull gold than a bright one.  I think the siladium looks better.  Plus, raider has the best solution.  You can get both.

I got a select silver last year its a brighter
and shinner then the free one its was $209
less $40 for 1st award of year so only $169
another choice.
I thinking of the select 800 I shot 2 weeks ago.

Along these same lines, does anyone know the cost of changing the number on the multiple 300 ring?
 Thanks

I have checked this out for my multi-top 800 ring and it will cost $150. I think i heard someone say that to do the same for the 300 ring is $65.I should be getting my multi-top 300 in the next week or so.

That's exactly why I haven't changed out my multi-300 top.  I thought it was a tad on the pricey side.  The multi-800 ring, that's another story.  That bad boy looks awesome.  Got a PBA 300 ring last year for a regional and that's an impressive looking bad boy, as well.

Everyone thinks the multi-800 is awesome.
The PBA 300 is also a great looking ring.
