Wow, I came up with the 52 post belonging to CROSSFADE.  If you take out the posts from Triggerman, and the double posts from kendog and Shaker, the actual 52nd person to post was Crossfade.

Either way, I'm not running the thing and realize the decision of the judges is final.

Congrats to the winner!

If he wrote down all the names and drew just d pats what does it matter if it is 52 or 1000???  Congrats to dan and thanks for the chance for the free ball, i might be getting one and or the ogre from you still.

Thanks Trigger!!!

I can't believe that someone takes there own time and effort to hold a give away like this, and then people complain about how it's done after they dont win. No wonder why more people aren't as outgoing around here!

Thanks again Trig, kudos to you for putting this on!!

ok let me see if i can explain this in a sensible way,  everytime someone entered they got an entry by me putting their name and post number on a peice of paper, those duplicates did not get into the pot.  the ticket i drew out says "#52 D-Pat"  if you count the posts, not including my intial post, he is in the 52nd slot, which really doesnt matter as I went by the name on the paper anyway.  All the duplicates as i stated did not make it to the final hopper, even tho they had a number, that number was disqualified from the drawing as that name was not placed in the hopper.  I did it this way to keep someone from deleting their post and screwing the numbers up, the order they came in is the order they went into the hopper, as I stated this was a long and drawn out process, it took some considerable time on my part to write each and everyone of these down, but I determined this to be the only fair way to draw a winner that way all those duplicates were not included or posts not deleted to throw the count off

Thanks again to all who participated.  This was indeed a fun ordeal

Nope, it doesn't.  I didn't see the previous post about how he was going to do the drawing, so I apologize for trying to start a conspiracy theory!

It sounded like he was going to draw based on the posts, and when he posted the number and name, I figured that was what he did.

Now I see in the other post that he just put the names in a hopper and picked a name - that makes sense.  I couldn't imagine he was going to actually sit down and count 1005 posts (or whatever the number was) and then take out the duplicates, etc.

Thanks to Triggerman for holding the drawing and Congrats to D Pat!  He really needs ANOTHER ball!
