O.K., here goes an attempt to "clarify" this so that even the smallest minds can grasp the concept.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT "ME"! This is a question about lane conditions in general.
"I" am not "complaining" about "my shot" being messed up. The "complaint" was about HOW MUCH they seem to change, and even then, all I was asking was if there was a way to make them more stable to hold up longer.
Several responders to this thread have taken it upon themselves to attempt to berate me personally, my talent level ( which is totally unknown to them ), and ridicule my question. I guess with so many people these days being both presumptuous AND immature, this was inevitable.
To those who have nothing to contribute, I salute you. You have now, unmistakably, shown yourselves to be the buffoons that you were suspected of being.
I have spent 27 years learning, honing, and re-learning the sport of bowling because I love it. I have spent many hours helping new bowlers learn the basics of the game enough to get them to join leagues and become lovers of the sport as well.
I remember a time when bowling was growing, not dying. I have a great respect for the game and the players that came before. The names Don Carter, Dick Weber, Earl Anthony, Andy Varipapa, Carmen Salvino, and Allie Brandt MEAN something to me, just as Walter Ray Williams, Wes Mallott, and Pete Weber do today.
I truly am sorry that there are those among us who seek to ridicule that which they don't understand and those whom they don't know. I have little, if any, use for these types of people, and rarely waste my time with them.
To those of you who found time to constructively respond to this thread, THANK YOU.
To the rest of you, post elsewhere if you like, this thread will be locked.
