this summer the house i bowl and drill balls at started running a pbax like league because of it being a wick machine after several tries they couldn't get any of the patterns to pass, but thats not the problem. every since then even double stripping the lanes have not had hardly any backend  and made it a weird shot i usually play up the boards or inside with a mild ball. never on a not so fresh shot have i had to resort to throwing my more aggressive stuff up the boards just to open a shot. No I'm not one of the no hand guys that need them scorched to hook the ball i have plenty of hand and am getting plenty of flare on the ball but no reaction. I;m not the only one noticing this the morning summer leagues the avg. are down 10 pins at least on avg. on the night league that i bowl in I'm still carring close to normal avg. 212-213 but that comes at the cost of having to use some of my tournament equipment that i don't like to throw in league. My question have any of your houses ran a pbax league using a wick and if so did you seen the same issues with the lanes?
