Round Holes
« on: June 08, 2009, 11:00:44 AM »
Just wondering if anyone uses round thumb holes and creates their own oval by using tape and/or magic carpet.  I believe Ron Clifton prefers it this way.  Can anyone who's had a lesson with him confirm this?

They are teaching triangle thumb drilling from what I hear in the IBPSIA HOTS Advanced.  A couple of years ago they were making a big deal about it and Mo Pinel and Del Warren were teaching the class.  I'll admit I haven't taken the class yet.    There are always things to learn.  Without taking the class the only thing I can say is use the knowledge I have and drill what I see.  Taking the class is on the list of things to do.
