I started bowling in Leagues in 1973, and this was the single-most-frustrating leave I've had or seen:

I bowled my first ball, and one pin "completely did a 360-degree-rotation end-for-end", and then remained standing, so I had to shoot it again! Talk about
FRUSTRATING! (It's never happened again since, to myself or anyone else I've ever seen bowl!)

Had a 10 pin slide into the 8 pin slot a few times..

I have actually had pin fall down on the pin deck, and then some other pin hit and it stood back up.

Talk about pissed.

tripped a 4 pin once bounced on the deck and stood back up as the 5 pin.

I had one where I had a strike, and one of pins bounced and hit another pin and stood it back up. I had to put my eyes back in my socket, and my son actually saw it too so I know I wasn't hallucinating.

A guy I know once hit the pocket almost flush and left the head pin.

I've had a 10pin slide into the 9 position that cost me some bucks in action..

I threw a shot and the 4 pin laid dead in the flat gutter and when the 7 scooted in, it bounced off the 4 and stood back up in its normal position (machine picked it up and all), I did this during a HighSchool state tournament and 4 pairs on each said they seen it.
