Are you trying to disinfect the bowling ball?

There are other proven cleaners available that will probably work better, and still save some money. Up until recently, I used Simple Green and water (50/50) for years with good results.

The key with this one is to give it 20-30 seconds after spraying it on the ball before wiping it off. It needs that much time to break down the oil. Some on this site have mixed a portion of alcohol in that mixture and like their results, too.

I don't know what that would be. I'm no chemist. All I know is that it's strong enough to remove motor oil from my driveway, when given time. Lane conditioner is whimpy compared to that.

I have seen no ill effects, myself, after using it for several years. Any chemists out there?
