Well, I finally got the chance to get myself videotaped this morning through my coach. I added the appropriate stats I was able to gain through the MAP analysis program that was used on the shots. I didn't get a CD copy yet of what my coach filmed, but he was able to film from multiple angles numerous shots (front, back, and side view). The balls that I ended up using were the Track Slash and the Brunswick Absolute Inferno.
I'll be putting some video up here on the site for people to see when I get it in, but two things came to mind very quickly when looking at the video.
1) When you throw yourself out of time on the first step, you have little choice but to muscle the ball on the final step....at least that was the case for me.
2) Trying to learn how to start forward from the hips when you are set in your stance is harder for me than I guess I imagined.
These two areas help to explain how I lose leverage, RPM's and thus recovery on the back ends...
I'll look forward to what everyone has to say once I get the CD in my hands...
