Bowling in a 5 man league first shift on Tuesday nights. The owner puts out a short oil pattern and hopes it'll last for 3 games. I am one of two lefties bowling on the same pair of lanes, and we each have to move from inside 15 to outside 5 after each game to try to find some semblance of consistency.
I bowled a clean 198 and 209 for my first two games- throwing no doubles in the first game and throwing a double to start game two and a triple in the tenth. Lots of 6,7 and 8 counts while fighting over/under...
Third game- my El Nino was too much, started with a 3-7 and then a washout. Switch to the Barbed Wire. Leave a 10 pin, throw a double, then fall off the shot and go through the beak for a 6-7. Another spare, strike, spare and in the tenth, throw it through the back wall and leave a 5-10. 159 last game- 566 for a series.
