Does it matter how you layout a plastic ball?
Looking to get a new one and just was wondering .

Thanks in advance!

If it's just a common or garden pancake core then other than top weight considerations (the pin is usually near the label, and so if you drill off label it can be tricky to remove enough weight to make the ball legal)
If it has an actual core, like an XXXL or the wolverine of old, then it does matter, but you can use the same principles that you'd use for a reactive with the same core, you just won't get the movement until the lanes get really dry.
