« on: April 16, 2009, 03:12:46 PM »
I just found a few "CLASSIC" polys in my garage. Anybody have any ideas on what I should start bidding at on Ebay for them?
1-  Never drilled GemTek sparkle ROSE color poly 15 lbs I think
2-  Never drilled GemTek sparkle GOLD color poly 15 lbs I think
Actually BETTER LOOKING than the BRUNSWICK GOLD CROWN JEWEL and A LOT LESS WERE MADE!!!

AND #3

Drilled but never thrown....
GT SPECIAL

THE ROSE!!!!!!!! Yes !!! the same as used in "KINGPIN"!!!!!
actual weight is 11 lbs 14 1/2 oz I guess we can call it 12 lbs.
BEAUTIFUL silver sparkle core and super clear opposite side with GORGEOUS RED ROSE!!!!

HOW MUCH?????????

That is correct! The only way to make the Rose Ball in a lighter weight was to put a "CORE" with lighter material than the complete clear polyester. The ball used in the movie was 15 lbs!!
It is the same company, same rose!!!
