I use a wrist SUPPORT (not a dial a hook brace) - it's a glove with either metal or hard plastic to support the wrist while I bowl. I can still move the wrist, but I have support.
I have horrible tendonitis - both on the inside and outside of the elbow. I've been in physical therapy 3 times now... And the bowling is NOT the main cause. IT'S THE COMPUTER!!! Specifically, the mouse. So you might want to think about that too. I took 2 weeks off bowling. Never touched the ball. It got worse.
