Based on physics a symmetrical core will be smoother overall than an asymmetrical one. But since I am smart and aware that the PBA's rules on RG, CG, and other characteristics are so strict in range, the core has little effect on reaction when compared to the coverstock.
My smart philosophy. Any clean reactive coverstock with any solid thought-out core will react 99% the same as any other clean reactive coverstock with any solid thought-out core.
And if any company wants to argue, I will show you a whole paper on this fact. Or, we can take a robotic arm and test various balls and then overlap them. Same speed, rev's, release etc. on the same exact lane. I am so sick of seeing ball reviews and videos of different bowlers making a ball look better or worse than it is and then comparing that to another ball that does the same thing.
If the limits were less strict, then obviously balls WOULD BE DIFFERENT. But since they keep getting more strict, every company is producing the same garbage.
