Title: League Nights
Post by: TheBowlingKid25 on February 06, 2004, 05:34:17 AM: I was curious as to like what nights everyone goes to league, and what time. I go every saturday morning, I leave by 7:30 every saturday. I only bowl in one leaue as of right now so, yea, but eventually I'll have more.

Post by: SrKegler on February 06, 2004, 09:24:03 PM: Mon, Wed, Fri I sub on the Sr league when I'm working 4-12. Get the about noon, have some coffe, warmup game or 2 ($.50 a game). League starts at 1:00, done about 3:15, get to work at 4: PM.

Tue-Wed-Thurs, if I'm working days, get off a 4: PM, run home (45 min) get wife on Tues, clean up, eat, run back to bowling alley (1 hr) shadow balls at 6:15, league finishes about 9:30.

If I'm on midnites, wife gets me up at 4:30, cleanup, eat, when leagues finish, run home, watch about 1/2 hr of TV, run back to work.

Weekends, different story. This week, switched shifts to work 2d, get off work midnite Sat, run home, sleep until about 5 AM, drive 5 hours to Old School tourny. Once the tourny is over, 5 hr trip home, sleep a little, get back into work at midnite.

I noticed that. Well, I'm there at 7:30. But with my stroker style, I can practice four games before league, and watch you beat me by at least 30 pins during practice. But afterwards, you just seem to...

Post by: MSC2471 on February 07, 2004, 04:43:45 AM: Monday nights I sub in a league that starts at 6:30 pm. I like to get there an hour early, bowl a practice game before the night. 10 minutes of shadow bowling before we start, 5 man teams and we are usually out of there a little after 9pm. The main league I bowl in is on Tuesday nights at 6:15pm, 5 man industrial league. I get there at 5pm, eat supper, bowl a warm up game, 5 minutes of shadow bowling before league. We are usually done by 8:35pm or so, depends on who we are bowling.

Post by: Power of Kim on February 07, 2004, 05:02:20 AM: My only league is on Friday nights at 9, but I almost always arrive at 8 - 8:15 practice until 8:30 (when they kick us off in prep for the league starting). I finish bowling around midnight, then I tend to stick around with my teammates in the bar talking and playing dice games. Then I get up at around 8 - 8:30 to coach the kids in the morning. (It's kind of tough to get up but I enjoy the coaching)
