Chris Barnes injured?

Is it me, or was Chris Barnes possibly injured when today's show was taped?  Only reason I ask is that he is wearing a Columbia 300 elbow sleeve and then another sleeve on his forearm.

JohnP, it wasn't a sarge Easter grip, it was a normal fingertip grip. He had a piece of blue tape around is ring finger so it looked like a sarge easter, I thought the same thing at first

Barnes wasn't using a sarge easter grip. He had blue vise tape on his ring finger below his finger joint. You really couldn't tell when he was throwing the Mass Eruption or the Eruption because they were both blue in color. If you watched when he was throwing the Vow, you sould see the color difference. Chris uses a slightly shortened ring finger and he always burys his fingers into the grips to make sure of a snug grip.

He isnt injured. Chris has his jerseys done with high 5 gear now instead of g2 gemini, and one of the things they wear now is arm sleeves with their jerseys that match. Belmo has the exact same thing. Its a promotional way to get their product out there. When you see the chameleon telecast and scorpion telecast, he is wearing his black and red jersey with a matching arm sleeve, just like barnes wore today.

I looked several times and sure thought he was using Sarge Easter.  Guess I didn't think about tape colored the same as the ball.  Thanks for the correction.  --  JohnP

@johnp, dont feel bad, i thought the same until i got a good look at the finger holes and watched him blow on his fingers.
