Why would I start leaving the 10 pin all of the sudden?? I know the lanes change after a few games, but what can I do to compensate for the changes? Is going to a lesser hooking ball the answer?

The house I bowl in is horrible for 10 pins. I adjust all the time still havn't figured it out completely. But this is what I do when I start to leave them. I am right handed. when I start to leave them my 1st move is normly just back my feet a half a inch at a time. If that dosn't work I move my feet 1 bourd to the left and back up atleast 1 inch if not more if needed. Then if I still dont carry the 10 I will change the line completly. Like say somthing like 5 bourds to the left and move my mark 3 to the left on the lane. I am also curious to everybody elses opinions on how to make the 10 go down. Mabye I can try somthing new. good luck wally

Fatboy, my question, is the 6 pin going around the 10 pin off the wall or into the gutter and if so you are getting to much of the 3 pin and need more angle. If the 6 pin is going straight back into the pit you are getting to much head pin and need to lesson you angle. This will usually work. There can be other reasons like the deck not getting cleaned, excess oil, creating the ball to deflect and I am sure others will note other exceptions. We all know your frustration.
