As a lefty, I have heard this since I started bowling 30+ years ago. I never really gave it much thought, but I wonder if the lane itself contributes to this. Lefties bowl on the less used side of the lane, therefore less wear and tear, could this be a factor in the contention that lefties have a natural hook?
As a Bronze coach, this was never brought up in the certification class.
