i have always heard that leftys  have a natural hook and was wondering if there is any fact to this or is it just an excuse because leftys are better bowlers lol

The ball will go in the direction of it's rotation after it hits friction. Rotation must be applied by the bowler, so leftys have the same issue as a righty.

Having said that, most leftys are forced outside, or closer to friction due to less traffic on that side of the lane which may lead some to believe that they are "naturals" at creating hook.

Both leftys and rightys must apply the rotation to the ball, though.

As good a theory as there is, though I doubt any one group of people have natural hook (or curve).  Except maybe the hookers, that is. Even so, not all of them have natural curves

Different sport, but I have found it virtually impossible to get a lefty to
throw a baseball straight.  Everything tails.
