Another fact people that track ezslide onto approaches honest only think of themselves.  They do not think of how it will effect others that are bowling with them.  When they argue about it and say well I am not able to slide and I will get hurt, what about the other people you bowl with?  There are possibly 9 other bowlers on the same pair as they are during league.  What is the ezslide going to do to their approach?  Sometimes you hear well why don't they use ezslide too?  IT IS DANGEROUS IF NOT USED CORRECTLY! 

So I should have to spend close to $100 for a pair of shoes when I can just put some easy slide on my current ones and be fine.  You sir are off your rocker.  And I am guessing you one of the bowlers who when they dont like something that is not going there way you whine, piss and moan to you get your way.   You will make a lot of enemies being a little crybaby bitch.  If you want to by me a brand new pair of shoes go for it, if not, you better hope you never bowl with me because if I am sticking, then you better believe I am breaking out the easy slide whether your ass likes it or not.

This is what the other part of rule 12 is about.  If you are asked to stop and you don't then you can be forced not to bowl and your sanction card may be pulled for knowingly violating the rules.  The rule is becoming increasingly more enforced because of the number of senior bowlers taking falls and the dangers to pregnant women.  But obviously some people only think about themselves and not others. Then they start calling people whiners and names.  What is going to happen is if you are going to continue using it and someone gets hurt they are going to sue you, the center, the league and your association because you are being an idiot.

I consider your shoes the most important single piece of equipment a serious bowler has in his/her bag. Without a good foundation and the ability to feel comfortable during the approach and through the release, you have troubles. Having shoes with interchangable slide soles and heels is a must. If you have to, forego getting a new ball and instead buy shoes.

I occasionally use Easy Slide. I tap it lightly on my sole and then rub it in so that there is no loose residue. I do all this away from the bowling area. It usually lasts me for a few months without having to re-apply.
I have Dexters with interchangeable soles and heels, but I find that it's not the solution that many think it can be (not for Dexter's, at least). I can only use the #8 soles - the #6 and lower instantly stop for me, whereas the #10's are like ice skating. So, I use two different #8's - one with no Easy Slide, one with the little bit rubbed in. I have the same problem with their heels, too. Anyway, my point is that having interchangeable soles and heels sounds great, but it isn't always the answer.
