Fonz didn't say that. It's just that position of the mass bias is more important than position of the CG. Typically, the pin, CG, and MB are in a relatively straight line. Drilling a ball like that label vs. stacked leverage will be similar to drilling a symmetric ball label vs. stacked leverage since the MB will move like the CG. You'll get a smoother, more controllable arc rather than a hard snap.
Some asymmetric balls don't have the pin, CG, and MB in line. A friend of mine has an Animal Untamed where the CG is quite a bit out of line. He put the pin next to his ring finger and MB swung way out to the VAL. But the CG is a little bit on the label side of stacked. He doesn't need a weight hole with that drilling since the CG is so far out of line. But he gets the reaction you'd expect from the MB being out so far: early, continuous hook.
