The Garden City Buffaloes swept three straight games to down the Liberal Redskins in the opener of the 2011 bowling Tuesday at Ayr Lanes.



Dylan Sandell bowled a total of 583 to lead Liberal, Jared Hall 570, Adrian Amado 560, Dakin Baier 499, Hunter Sandell 494 and Hunter Rinehart 470 as Liberal scored a team total of 2240 to Garden City’s 2593.



Hall bowled a 221 in game two and Dylan Sandell 220 in game three to lead Liberal.



Garden City was led by Juan Rameriz with a total of 702.



The Lady Redskins won 2210-2173 over Garden City as Kimberly Vanley bowled a 637 and Kylie  Jennings 553 to pace the Lady Redskins.



Vanley bowled a 257 in game three for Liberal and 202 in game two for the only Redskin to break 200 individually.



Erica Fowler bowled 490, Katie Jennings 480, Jessica Fowler 466 and Madison Butler 376.



Rikkie Hemmert led Garden with a 557.



The JV boys fell 2117-1933, led by Jeff Minor’s 614 total. Minor bowled 202, 260, 152.



Alex Merklin bowled 405, Matt McLane 434, Lucas Poulton 468, Joe Cotto 417 and Esteban Michel 308.



The LHS JV girls fell 1666-367 as only one bowler, Summer Simpson, competed for the Lady Red.



Liberal travels to Dodge City on Jan. 17.

Coool! Nice report!   I take it these are teams in Michigan? You know it caught my eye, as soon as I saw Redskins! : )
