When is the best time to be fitted for a ball drilling?
« on: April 01, 2014, 08:00:09 PM »
I am thinking of having my hand re-fitted since its been a couple of years. When is a good time to have it done, before you bowl or after you have practiced for a few games? I am bowling in the morning and thinking of having the fit done afterwards (at a different location).

Buck, that is a great question. The answer is probably going to vary from person to person---just the answer that you do not need! My right thumb generally does not swell very much over the course of a series, but I am sure that other players will have a different view. My last ball was fitted 60-90 minutes after I finished a series, and I had no problems.
