oil track over fingers?
« on: April 18, 2004, 11:33:15 AM »
A friend of mines has just started bowling a month ago. Very slow ball and WAY too much hook. I've finally looked at his ball after he threw it. And to my surprise, his bowing track goes directly over his fingers and thumb. Has anyone seen this and knows anything about this type of release?

Cranker... The BAD kind...

This guy must crank the ball incorectly, does he roll his wrist around the ball during the release? If so he needs lessons,

I've been reading on it and have seen sights saying that type of track is a full-roller. I know that ball is not drilled incorretly, because i've used hit ball before (trauma) with no problems. BTW, this was a hand-me-down ball that he obtained. As for his release, it looks very unorthodox. I'll have to check if he rolls his wrist or not though.
