Is there any advantages/disadvantages in the difference?

Are there any advantages or disadvantages to being a high tracker, or a low tracker? Does someone who is more of a "semi-roller" have an advantage over someone who is all forward or all side roll? I dont know why Im asking this, I was just curious. I recently discovered I track really high. I dont know my PAP or anything YET, but I will know sometime or another. Opinions?

High trackers will roll earlier, since more of the ball is in contact with the lane.  Low trackers will react later with more backend.

Forward roll= strong midlane roll, not much backend
full side roll= skid, SNAP reaction

Hey, i didn't say no backend, just an earlier read than some who has a low track.....NOT a spinner, though.

He did not say this was a black and white, cut and dried difference. It is a relative difference. There are 400+ other factors involved in the equation. All other variables being identical (which is impossible),
a forward roll release will give less length and less backend (more control) than the same person, doing everything else the same, with the same ball, on the same lane, with the same oil pattern but rotating the ball at his release point through 80-90 degrees (vs his forward roll's 10-20 degrees), will get more length and more backend.

Those are the basic differences; used properly, at the right time, they represent advantages (maybe, like when the heads and/or midlane are drying and there's some carrydown). Used improperly on the wrong lane conditons (saw lots of midlane oil), they (length and the skid/flip reaction of a 90 degree rotation release) represent disadvantages.
