Me and a friend of mine go bowling once a week usually, sometimes twice. He always tries to beat me, but comes up short. If he does win, its because i shot a terribly low score, not that he shot a really high score.
I want to make things fair and equal. I keep telling him to get his own ball, shoes, bag, etc, but he won't listen to me. He bowls frequently enough that he might as well sink some money to get some equipment. He isn't short on money, so finances aren't to blame for getting his own equipment.
What can I tell him to convince him to get more serious about bowling?
He really tries to beat me, but seems kinda down when he doesn't. I figure if he has his own ball he will improve tremendously. I told him the last time we bowled, "I can show you how to throw a hook, but you can't do it with a plastic house ball. You need your own equipment." I told him that and he kinda shrugged it off.
Oh, what do i do?
