You may be asking what the heck is he on about?
Well, I've been noticing something that I can't explain to my satisfaction. I try, because I have a not so hot left (sliding) knee to remain more upright, ie., not bend the knee much. I've also got a number of hand/wrist positions that I use. One is with the wrist slightly (1/2" to at most 1") dropped (i.e., bent back). When I really want to flatten the ball my wrist drops at least 2 1/2". When I do this smaller drop, regardless of other wrist position components (what I might call "degree of wrist cock") I seem to get a much heavier roll (stronger) with the more upright knee position than I do with my other wrist positions. When I bend the knee it's no better than equal. Any thoughts on why this might be?
