I have a Barbed Wire that I like when the backends are flying, a Slate blue Gargoyle that's very good in dry, and several balls that work great on longer patterns or patterns with carrydown.
My problem is that my balls that I use for longer patterns (Hawk, Green Messenger, Impact Zone, and the AZO Fantasy X Reactive) all break too much on the standard house shot.
I then switch to my Barbed wire. It is so easy to get to the pocket, but at the first hint of carrydown it pings ten pins like crazy. I carry well light, but a solid pocket shot is almost guaranteed a ten pin after the first game.
I need something stronger than the Barbed Wire but weaker than most balls on the market.
I'd prefer something that will be controllable and arc because everything snaps for me. I was considering the Spirit II, but I can't really think of any other alternatives.
I throw 14# with high revs and medium speed with a very high track. I need length with controllable backend but a little more cover than the weak cover on the Barbed Wire.
Thanks to all!!!
