The process for installing the IT system seems very time consuming.

With the material changes and modifications to the Turbo Switch grip system my local shop won't be handling the IT system.  Switch grips are finally to a point where breakage isn't a concern for all but the most aggressive release styles.

It's not.  It just looks a lot more complicated than it really is.  My ball driller can get a Vise IT installed in just a couple extra minutes, and it fits exactly right every time.  They're not any more time consuming really than the Turbo Switch Grips, and they tend to be more consistent from ball to ball in my experience.  Not to mention I have yet to see a Vise IT break except for the one time that a buddy of mine didn't glue it right when he installed it and didn't realize until it was too late!

For the "IT" Drilling the 1/2" second hole/glue in the ball it/glue in the top sleeve 2-3 minutes extra. For THE BEST, 3 extra minutes WELL WORTH IT!!!

Use "IT" and BOWL UP A STORM!!

I got the IT and it is the best thing ever.. I haven't had a perfectly fitting thumb hole in forever cause I am super picky about my thumb hole and there was no way I would be able to get them exaclty the same on all of my balls.. so I just went with a round drill and tape.. with the it I can make the thumb exactly the way I want and move it from ball to ball.. I also would stand behind the quality and construction of the IT 100% ..

I just started using the Vise "IT" and it will be a great addition to any pro shop and also also to any bowling style! I've seen the other interchangeable thumbs and never was interested in them, cause of the fear of them breaking during use! They're not that difficult to install and I believe will be more durable than the switch grip. Use the new Vise "IT" and on the lanes you'll be "IT"!
