another finger postion help

Not sure where i've seen it and a search came up empty...

What is the change in reaction/ ball travel/ movement with a tucked pinkie finger vs. in tight to ring finger vs spread out wide?

I used to tuck (long ago ..b4 i had the rev i have now).  the ball driller i had then chew me out for tucking and told me to stop never fig. out why.

Here is a nice article for what you're asking.  I think it's a good explanation of what you can expect, but I find that not everyone gets the same results.  You should experiment and see what happens when you do certain things.
