Looking for new ball
« on: June 06, 2008, 01:46:43 AM »
I'm looking to possibly purchase a new ball for main use in a PBA experience league bowled on synthetic lanes.  I throw in the 16 MPH range and have 2 primary balls I use.  One is Tracks Rising and the other is older Track, GP2.  I am getting almost no reaction at all from either ball.  Not sure how the GP@ is drilled but the Rising is 3-7/8, 1/4" up.  I know there will be many questions to answer but I was looking for recommendations for a new ball to use in the PBA experience league.  I need to find something that hooks so I can improve.  I am a 215 house bowler in 3 different houses and really don't want to play with scuffing one of the above 2 balls.  I do have a third ball laying (never really use it anymore) around but I'm not sure it would help scuffing this.  It is a Sling Blade with a shinny cover and was drilled conservatively years back.  Would it help to scuff it?  Any recommendations are welcomed and appreciated.

thanks in advance

Try a Black Widow solid or a Roto Grip Cell.
