Looking for some advice
« on: October 20, 2008, 03:57:57 AM »
I am looking into buying my first ball and want to know what would be the best option.  I am a rec bowler and I throw a straight ball (taboo I know).  When I use a public ball I try and grab a 13-14lb and throw it hard.  Pin explosion is my goal.

Is there a type or brand of ball that is designed for my amatuerish style?  Also I would absolutely LOVE it if I could get said ball in purple with MN Viking's logo.

Thanks for the help.

If you are going to stay with using a straight ball technique.  These are available.  http://www.bowlingindex.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BI&Category_Code=VizaBall&Product_Code=BL-BVIZNFLMV

Poly Vis-A-Ball.....you can put together a whole ViQueens motif with a bag and towel.

Look at bowling.com under brunswick viz-a-ball and see if they have a minute Vikings ball. I know they have a lot of NFL teams but I think its the most popular teams. Just check and see.
