Looking to try new brands. Fill medium/light hole in my bag!
« on: August 11, 2004, 12:15:34 PM »
Hey guys. Yeah it's another, fill my arsenal thread. Here's the deal, I'm missing a ball in my medium/light oil spot and would like recommendations. Brands I'm looking at are Brunswick, Track, Rotogrip, Storm.

Here's my arsenal:

Heavy oil/carry down - Ultimate Inferno
Medium heavy/medium arc - Columbia Full Throttle (slightly polished)
Medium heavy/medium skid/snap - Columbia Detour
Medium/Light Oil - ???

One thing to keep in mind, I will NEVER get to see fried lanes. The lanes I bowl on are heavy oil synthethic with the occasional need for a medium dry ball on the second/third game of 9 o'clock leagues. Any recommendations are welcome. Check out my bowling style in my profile. Thanks!

For the money you can't go wrong with a sonic series ball from Rg.  If you are heavy handed drill it weak.  Best bang for the buck covering medium light oil.

I would also suggest the crunchtime from track.  I think it's a great ball and everyone that I know that owns one absolutely loves it.

edit: just noticed that your 'shot' is similar to mine. checkout my profile to see how my crunchtime is drilled if interested

Super Sonic !  Polished solid, 2.60-.035.  It just screams lighter mediums!
