Very rare EBAY Listings
« on: August 17, 2015, 10:34:45 PM »
I just happened to notice that there is a EBAY Seller "Oursproshop2011" ..seems to be located in Taiwan that has 5 NIB Rare balls.

A 16 pound Track Coral Triton  http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB16lb-Track-Hot-Coral-Triton-Bowling-Ball-Rare-/131580560250?hash=item1ea2d0037a

A 16 pound Storm Sun Storm Pro  http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB16-Storm-1997-Sun-Storm-Pro-Rare-/131580557645?hash=item1ea2cff94d

A 15 pound Ebonite Werewolf   http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB15lb-Ebonite-WereWolf-Rare-/131580579160?hash=item1ea2d04d58

A 15 pound Storm Red Sun Storm   http://www.ebay.com/itm/NIB15lb-Storm-1994-Red-Sun-Storm-Rare-/131580555251?hash=item1ea2cfeff3

A Heavy 14 Original Gold Rhino Pro   http://www.ebay.com/itm/New15lb-heavy-14-Brunswick-Original-Gold-Rhino-Rare-/131580567404?hash=item1ea2d01f6c

I am surprised that the shipping on each item is only $35.00...considered it will be shipped from taiwan..many us Located sellers are charging more than that these days. Just wanted to post these in case someone might be interested.

I was going to bid on that Gold Rhino until I looked at thier feedback.
I would tend to be cautious about buying from them because all of their feedback is as a buyer, except one as a seller.

I also don't quite understand how they will ship the ball from Taiwan to the US for only $35.

They will lose money on shipping no doubt. I order a double Helix from Japan 10 years ago and it was $85 to ship.

Locally in the U.S. I can ship anywhere for $25 or less usually.

These balls also posted on a Facebook page called bowling gems.  The guy could be legit but imagine how much fun it would be to try to get Paypal to refund money to you from a guy on the other side of the world.

Most of these balls are over 20 years old.  Even if you get them, you have no idea how they were stored or how they will hold up once you put holes in them.

The auctions just ended last night.   The Gold Rhino Pro only went for 107.50...based how high that ball is usually talked up I thought it would go for more.  The Red Sunstorm went for 203.27. The Sunstorm Pro went for 123.27. I was surprised that the Ebonite werewolf went for less than 100 dollars at 98.00, And the Coral Triton went for 107.50, which is kind of a surprise....sellers typically ask for more than that when they list one--even used one see a high asking price..somebody got a deal.

Or someone got taken...the red flags other mentioned could have contributed to keeping price down...

Pay with a creditcard and protect yourself incase of scam. As far as prices,  14lb and 16lb equipment doesn't fetch the same attention and $$$$$$ as 15lbs.
