Title: Low Track / High Track ?!

Can anybody explain me what it means - HIGH/LOW TRACK PLAYER ???

This is about as basic as a description as I can give...

If you look at the oil track on your ball after you throw it, if your track is closer to your thumb than your fingers, you're a high tracker...if it's closer to your fingers than your thumb, you're a low tracker.  This could be completely wrong, but that's my understanding of it.

If you throw your ball on oily lanes you'll see rings around the ball (there will be several rings, depending on how much the ball "flares").  This is your track.  Normally these rings will circle the ball anywhere from very near or over the thumb or finger holes to several (up to 4 or thereabouts) inches away from the holes.  The further away from the holes the lower the track is said to be.  Low because, if you find your positive axis point (PAP), and set the ball with that point down, the track will be below the finger and thumb holes.  The further "down" the lower it is.

So Spinner is Max-High Track Player, and Full Roller is Max-Low Track Player.
Am I right ???

If your track is within an arbitrarily small distance (eg 2.5") of your finger/thumb holes then you are a high tracker (note how this includes full rollers).

If you can easily see one flare ring without moving your ball around, then you are a low tracker.

That's backwards.  The further away from ones holes, the lower the track.

Yea like Rags said, its the opposite. If a person has a REALLY low track, there a "spinner" and has a real high track there a "full roller".

The semi-roller picture represents the average track.  Spinner is a very low track.
