You're just trying to find a majority to get me, HB, BK, bob and "the others" of our illustrious post banned, aren't you!!

LOL AK. No, you'll get yourself banned faster than I could do it!
Please, stick to the topic and at least post your favorite bowling ball! LOL.

I have clear proof that 'Bones has been wrong. He produced a left-handed offspring, and that just ain't right.

Instead of just "your favorite ball", how about if you could only use 1 ball (& only that ball) for an entire year (league & tourny's). All strike shots, all spare shots, and all kinds of oil patterns... one ball.
What ball would you take?
I'd have to go urethane. Original black hammer w/ about a 1500 grit matte surface.

Fav Ball - Dick Weber 5 Star (unfilled)

I started posting once I registered last November- and my favorite ball of all time was my urethane Blue Hammer. Shot so many wonderful games and series with it in the early to mid 90's.
My favorite ball now would be my Eraser Pearl Particle, but that's always subject to change.

I used to lurk. In fact, I had registered (so I could see the profiles) months before I ever drank enough Jamesons to post.

9andaWiggle,
Likes:
1. Some pretty knowledgeable drillers and reps.
2. Some surprisingly knowledgeable younger (teens) bowlers.
3. People are pretty civil towards each other.
4. Moderators...big thumbs up.
Dislikes:
1. Lefty, wrongsider, BS. No specifics, it's pretty sophomoric, and degrading.
2. Ball reviews section is basically useless.
I think a simple form should be utilized. Reviewer would HAVE to fill in BEFORE drilling: pin position, top weight, coverstock finish and ball weight; AFTER drilling: pin position, end top weight, layout. Bowler would HAVE to supply PAP, RPM / revs, approx. ball speed. Link to a piece of video would be great. Most the info could be given to the bowler by the pro shop.
I have a link in my profile...Please let me know if it works.
Thanks,

Yeah, Im a lurker. I posted a bit a couple years ago, but I just read and soaked up information after that. Posted a couple the past week or so too...
I think... that this place is in some serious need of organization and moderation. However, I don't think anonymous mods are the way to go. Just my opinion though.
I also like the insane amount of knowledge some people on this forum posess, in terms of technique, drilling, history, or whatever! Makes for great reading a lot of information.
I don't read the reviews themselves very often, because I don't change equipment often. Im content with what I have.
Fav ball: Green Gargoyle
Runner(s) Up: Combat Zone, Sage Quantum

I agree witht he earlier post that there are many more knowledgeable people than I so I am another who reads and enjoys the things I've learned here.
I haveand will continue to post on occasion, and also reply when I feel that what I have to say adds to the thread or answers the question put forth by the asking party.
Other than that ,what I have to day usually gets said by another poster so why repeat???

For the lurkers that have replied - thanks for posting and welcome (although some of you might have been around here longer than me). I understand about many having more knowledge, and in a lot of instances, I will let those with more experience speak. However, on the posts that are open to different opinions, I like to share my thoughts. Don't be afraid to ask questions or bring up new and interesting topics - that's the part I like best.
I agree with dark ember, we do need some more organization and moderation to help keep the board interesting. I think (hope) the new moderators will be a great help towards achieving this goal.

I only lurk through the summer. To much time spent on the golf course.
Favorite ball: The one I'm scoring well with. No, seriously.
-
i used to post here a good bit, but left after asking for advice, getting some advice, asking some questions about the advice, and getting ripped apart for being ungrateful and cocky.
-
oracle - unfortunately some people are like that... we do have an ignore button so if someone acts that way to you, you won't have to see their posts any more. There are a lot of good, informed people on here who are patient and helpful and realize that everyone does not already know everything. I would urge you to remain active on these boards, and maybe just avoid/ignore those who are less than pleasant to deal with.
