Made a new Scoresheet *Updated May 26*
« on: May 19, 2005, 07:19:25 AM »
UPDATED
http://www.allbowling.com/journal/Score_Sheet.pdf (version 0.7)
(Adobe Acrobat Reader required)

May 26 Update:
Added a section for recording the number of Strike Opportunities, Strikes, Spare Opportunities, Spares, Opens, and Splits for each game.  These numbers are also recordable in the Bowling Journal on allBowling.com.  Soon the Bowling Journal will calculate your strike percentage and spare conversions. Also, the file's location has changed.

May 24 Update:
Added a second page to the document.  The second page has four "Lanes" to graph your track.  Enjoy!

Original Post
Ok, I noticed the other thread about frame-by-frame score sheets.  One of them didn't print out well and the others I didn't care for.

So I made my own.

Let me know what you think.  Do I need to make changes?  Add/Remove something?  Your feedback is appreciated!

Nice work as usual, Tony.  Only suggestion I have would be to make the pin triangles smaller, and the area for "Notes" below each frame larger.  I tend to want to make notes about the adjustments I make, ball changes, and so on.

I'm still waiting for store.allbowling.com to start selling those Ultimate Inferno Christmas ornaments, though.

Ok, I added a fourth game and there's room to the right for notes.

I'll add some more fields for Lane Number, and whatnot.

Try re-downloading the above link.  Thanks for the feedback!

want some more,..I didn't think so,...but if I could "write" on the form, I could transfer my scribble to a nice form,...and create a weekly file, tournament file,...or a practice file,...

I would like to see a small double column under the pins to capture starting position and target boards

Just curious if anybody uses any software to track their stuff?  I use Gone Bowlin', but I'm not quite advanced enough yet to track target boards, foot position.  My Bowling Diary looks pretty advanced for that, although the reports leave something to be desired (graphically).  I've thought about buying it (it's only $40 or so), but I don't know if I would use all the features yet.  They also offer some referral payouts for referring customers ($5-10 per referral), so I'm sure somebody on here could make a killing if they signed up and could convince people to buy it!

I do like to track my progress and using a program makes it easier for me - let the program do all the work!  I think if I could combine Gone Bowlin' and the Diary program it would be a must have piece of software!

Look at it again.

I added a place to add your Feet/Target for each frame, a Flush/High/Light hit indicator, and some Notes area for a Game Review.

I think the purpose of this Score Sheet is to have in a binder, so I'll leave out the "form" stuff.  Although I am working on something on my website for tracking bowling scores and stuff.  But that's not ready.

How's it looking guys/gals?

Looking good.

only one more suggestion. do not put circles around the pin number.

I can see this for a visual reference or easy to read later.

you go up there and leave a 4,7 ,10 it would be quicker to circle the pins. you then leave a 10. so you just slash the 4 and 7 showing you left the 10.

just my .02c.

Never thought about that.  But that's a great idea.

Done.

I've actually made the outlines very light gray, but you can now circle them and see your circle.  Download it again.

Looks good to me.  I bowl2 leagues of trios with a 4 game format and have not been able to find a 4 game score sheet.   Thanks!
