I need a ball to go under my jinx. The jinx is currently the weakest ball in my bag, the key is that I can get into 5th and even 6th arrow and the ball will retain energy when conditions are dry or the pattern plays out that way. I need a ball somewhat like it, I was thinking along the lines of the smokin or radical inferno. Not sure if that would be too much but I need the ball to store energy. Any ideas?

Anyone know where to get a punisher in 15? And just curious just how strong is the ogre pearl?

The Punisher is in the same range as the Jinx and the Pearl Ogre is stronger.
You need something really mild like a Power Groove pearl, Neptune, Tropical Storm or a Hornet to be less ball than the Jinx.
The ultimate mild resin ball for me is the Visionary Blue-Green Centaur. Polished that ball gets great length and strong hitting power considering it has 1-2" flare max. It comes 1000 grit, but can be easily polished to handle very light oil. I've used it to play between 4th and 5th arrow at Nationals 2 years in a row. (Should have polished it myself this year; it was at 2000 grit. )

If you really want to go mild, try a Visionary Slate Blue Gargoyle. This ball has been discontinued, but the last time I looked it was still available at allstarbowling.com for ~$105. It is pearl urethane with a dynamic core, there's nothing like it currently being manufactured. It may be the best dry lane ball ever made. -- JohnP

Slate bLue Gargoyle is a hot tip - as long as you can still find one. A Power Groove Pearl or a Tropical Storm with a weak drilling, or a Power Groove Dry/R (even weaker coverstock) should be an option, too, I am totally with CharlesT and JohnP.
