Make Your League/Tournament Arsenal
« on: November 15, 2008, 10:17:55 AM »
Lets say if you had to make a 6-7 ball arsenal for leagues and tournaments, how would you set yours up? Here's my ideal arsenal:

Cell
Kinetic Energy
Black Widow Bite
Power Machine
Kinetic Pearl
Loud Noize
Neptune

Smash Time Solid
The One
Playmaker
Gamebreaker
SR300
Ice
Brown/Black/Red Bash

If a spareball counts in the 6-7, then I'd rather have a spare ball than the Gamebreaker.

In can be on USBC Championship, PBA, Regionals, 35ft. oil lenght, 42ft. oil length, ect. Basically any conditions you can think of that you can cover with your arsenal.

Some of you guys tickle me with those lists... You go with one being your favorite company and then have them all within that one brand. Now here is the list that someone really needs as an arsenal!

 NVD
 Cell
 Twisted Fury (drilled weak)
 BWP
 Vibe(blue one)
 XXXL (plastic)

Now this would be a killer lineup!!! Guys like noturcuzin, mentioned balls that you cant even possibly find. Whats up with that???

This is my tournament arsenal:

Widow Bite
Widow Solid
Pluto
Blue Hammer
Spare

Also have a Widow Pearl, but I don't like the feel of it, so most times it remains at home.

My current go-to arsenal:
-Spare ball (Ice Storm, hit with car polish to make it as skiddy as possibel)
-Black Pure Hammer, pin at 5.5" from PAP above bridge, stacked, at 1.500 grit
-Revolution Renegade, pin at 4.5" from PAP above fingers, stacked, High gloss polish on 2.000 grit
-Frankie May Gryphon, pin at 4.5" under fingers, CG stacked, 2.000 Abralon
-New Standard², label leverage, at OOB (about 1.500 wet sanded, I think).

This is a very good combo, condition and reaction-wise. If I know I face just light of short oil, the NS² can be skipped, and/or I replace it with a Slate Blue Gargoyle, stacked leverage, OOB, because the Pure Hammer hooks a lot when it is too dry.
