Squaring shoulders to target....
« on: November 16, 2008, 09:15:11 AM »
Alright ya'll, as you can see by the title i've been having some issues this season in keeping my shoulders square with my target, I don't have any current video right now but i'm hoping to film some very soon.

But my issue is i'm throwing good shots and then a bad one or two and its the ball coming in behind the head pin because I didn't get back square on my target line again. I always have opened my shoulders to an extent in my swing and its never been a big issue (or well it probably has but was obscured by a bad swing in general and many other issues that are getting fixed). Now i'm just asking for some ideas or ways to help myself fix this issue, I currently don't have a coaching option at my disposal but will early 2009, so until then its self work.

Any suggestions/ideas/ or drills would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Swing your free arm back near the release time.

Use your balance arm to help keep your shoulders in the correct location.  Your balance arm can also aid in keeping your hips inline.
