Man I Suck and My Team Is Last LOL

Well tonight was a weird night.  Not many strikes in a row.  Still averaged around 7 strike a game but kept bowling 190-200.  Nothing good, nothing bad.  First game, there appeared to be oil or my balls were cold from the snow.  There was no traction.  By the third game, I was standing around 30-35 (left) and throwing out to 2-3 board.  Still couldn't do s***.  My team starting off the 2nd half is 0-7 and in last place.  I'm pissed.  I think I should retire after this season.



P.S. I made all my 10 pins.

P.S.S. I left so many splits it was unbelievable - especially the 4-9.  My power is hurting my scores now.

too much power does not cause you to leave 4-9 and 4-7-9 entry angle does.. until you get your angle together and hand positioning you will continue to leave a boat load of splits

Go check VT's ranking nationally in bowling between 2001-2006.  In the words of Apu: "Thank you, come again!"

2001-02 - was not recorded but I started bowling that season and we were in the top 20 all year
2002-03 - Ranked 43rd
2003-04 - Ranked 23rd
2004-05 - Not ranked

And guess what, I left the team around 03-04 and joined the fun league on campus where I ranked 1st in average hehe.

So we are suppose to be impressed since you were on a team that was ranked 23rd at the highest? I guess we have a bowling god in here. Let's see I have bowled against and beat Jeremy Sonnenfield what does that mean for me? I have bowled against and beating a guy that bowled on tour for awhile do I get extra points for that? Better yet I have also beat a guy that is high up on the USBC board while he was living in Sioux Falls. Do any of those get me extra points?

LOL, I was just showing that I know how to bowl.  Nothing more and nothing less.  Too many people on this site take bowling wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too seriously.  Bowling has 1 flaw that will always make it not quite up there with real sports and specifically other sports that I compete in - the 300 game limit.  I have always said from day 1, that anyone on this planet can beat anyone else on this planet regardless of experience, form, or anything else simply because of the limits in the game of bowling.  You or anyone else could beat WRW just by throwing it straight down the lane and getting lucky one game.  Unlike any other sport and even golf, bowling's 300 game limit will always allow for the possibility of defeat to even the highest average bowlers.

Those scores arent bad you just couldnt CARRY all styles suffer this unfortunately. Thats when a LIGHT BULB medium range ball comes in effect.

The new equipment IMHO was created for lower rev players or mach 10 speed. I dont know what you were throwing but just start having fun and watch the bowlers around you score that has similarities to "YOUR" game. I call this going to school, lol hop in the same line and ride it.

Vertigo and Gravity Shift both polished heavily.  Maybe I should try the Tropical that I make fun of so much LOL.

Use a weaker ball, polishing the hell out of a strong ball just makes it uncontrollable.
