We were short a person for our 5 person mixed team last night, so I had to talk a girl into bowling for us at the last minute.  She  was really hot, but had never bowled in a league before. Her 291 series was by far the worst anyone on my team has ever bowled, but that was better than taking 165 per game with no handicap.

Luckily, the rest of our team bowled really well, so we still won all 7 points.  I made a run at 800 before choking on the first ball in the 10th to finish with 777.  That is the highest anyone on my team has ever bowled.  That got me thinking...what is the largest spread there has ever been between two people on the same team in one night?  I'm sure 486 pins is not the most, but it has to be up there.
