R.G. and Differential question
« on: April 14, 2004, 05:04:23 AM »
Most companies show one number for r.g. and another for differential.

Brunswick on the other hand shows both a maximum and minimum r.g.

If I'm trying to compare a Brunswick ball to say XYZ company, which r.g. number would I use so that I'd be comparing apples to apples?

When one RG number is quoted, they are quoting the AVERAGE number, not the low number.

Constantine -

Do you then take the high/low and divide by two or is it more complicated than that?

(High + Low)/2

Its that simple.

If you ever want/need to compare the other way, you can...

Average RG + (Differential/2) = High RG
Average RG - (Differential/2) = Low RG
