marking up the aproach

bout a month and a half ago i switched to the dexter sst8 i love them but there a problem i have always dragged my toe after pushing off and the dexters leave very visable marks on the lanes good in a way that at least i can tell if i drifted or not but not good as in i have a regional to bowl in next week and they will not put up with that. any ideas on how to keep it from leaving a mark or something i can do that will cover it and or keep it from leaving a mark.

Not sure on that one but I feel your pain.  I drag my toe as well and was too leaving marks on the lanes.  It stopped for me but thats because I wore the toe down enough that it quit leaving marks.

You should see the marks my Texas Steer work boots leave. Like somebody doin burn-outs on the approach. lol
I've seen most brands leave marks. Guess it depends on how much a guy drags his feet. You could try NOT dragging that toe. lol Other than that, i wouldn't sweat it. It happens to a lot of people. Houses have rags and cleaners to remove the marks.
