Looked over my Bowling balls and was a little surprised at the markings. It appears that MOST COMPANIES have the NAME OF THE BALL sort of PUNCHED into the surface .. all of them seem to have the SERIAL NUMBER punched into the surface. It appears to me that LANE 1 has their NAME and BALL NAME (sort of) STAMPED on the ball .. is my observation INCORRECT? Makes you think that the ball is a PHONY!

the bruiser and slayr have the logos stamped on. Maybe they are fake too? Maybe all balls are made by one company, and they make slightly different markings to make us think they are different and therefore worth buying. Or maybe....your observations are correct...and your conclusions are wrong.

Buzzsaws are very, very dangerous.

what do you use when the color comes out from the ball name and the number?

ONLYST .. If it's a BRUNSWICK/LANE1 .. I guess there isn't much you can do .. all other you can use a CRAYON to pass over the PUNCHES and it will FILL IN! Haven't done that it years but when they use to SCRIBE your NAME on the ball .. that's how they would color it!
