Mass bias
« on: July 11, 2004, 10:55:51 AM »
Can someone tell us how you can go about finding the mass bias on our bowling balls,I am not getting a convincing answer from the part time pro shop. I don't want to get into many specifics unless more info is needed(hunt and peck typer) but after the shot is put out for our leagues on thursday, and because being summer the lanes aren't dressed every day (not enough business). By Sunday I have to stand 10 drift left then throw back over 7 when I would stand 25 out to ten on Thursday, I would have thought that after 3 days the back ends  would be flying and the heads burn't which they are not(I have a up the back release and tried the entire lane). So can someone explain to me please why the lanes got tighter after no oil was applied for 3 days

The default position for the MB is about 6 inches from the pin through the cg.
