It's great to hear your old balls are...
« on: April 09, 2014, 12:32:33 AM »
Producing high games and series, and a few honor scores as well. Too bad I wasn't throw it. Some of the balls I sold or donated in the last 6 months have been used to shoot great scores by their new owners. (Elite gold label, invasion, reign, and hyroad)

Though I get a little jealous I couldn't shoot those scores, many of these guys are either older or had a serious injury. So for them to do this is great! And with a 14lbs ball ;) (father, it's been 3 years since my last 300....)

I just sold 6 used balls last week, let's see if these other guys text me later... ;D

Yeah the EGL is a great ball, but it was kinda s/f when I used it. The black label was the ball I missed out on.

Elite makes some good stuff...

I feel your pain with selling off an older ball to someone else then they turn around and fire off several honor scores in just a coupe weeks with it.

Prime example: I sold a guy a 14# Storm Prodigy. He didn't even get it redrilled (thumbless bowler). The very next week he bowls against me on our Wednesday night league. He pulls out the ball I sold him just a week prior. Shot 279, 300, 255!

My "old balls" are rolling some good games as well.  The wife is very happy....  8)  :o

But seriously... I had to take the last 2 falls off. Took last summer of too.  But gonna try & get after it again eventually.

But haven't bought a ball in a while, so my question is what's considered "old" now?  How many years old is old for a ball or do you go by games on it?

I guess the proper term (if there was one) for balls less than 5 years old or less than 30 games should be called used. Anything more should be called old.

The "older" ball I shouldn't have given away.. Cuda C
